LSG IPL Performance

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) Team was formed in the year 2021 and Sanjeev Goenka is the principal owner of LSG. In their maiden IPL 2022, lSG reached the eliminator round and remained in the 3rd position. The home ground of the team is the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium. Due to covid, LSG has not played any of the matches at its home ground, so all the league stage matches during IPL 2022 were hosted by Maharashtra. Hopefully, in IPL 2023, LSG will play some matches in its home state.

Lucknow Super Giants Team coach

LSG team players have been coached by Andy flower along with Vijay Dahiya as an assistant coach and Gautam Gambhir as a mentor. Narendra Hirwani is the spin bowling coach and Andy Bichel is the fast bowling coach of LSG. The fielding coach of LSG IS is Richard Haisall.

LSG Team Auctions 2023

LSG team has been made after IPL 2023 Aucitons, in which LSG has retained 15 players and Lucknow super giants team 2023 has released 7 players – Jason Holder, Manish Pandey, Dushmantha Chameera, and Evin Lewis. LSG has also omitted Andrew Tye and Shahbaz Nadeem from the retentions list.

Lucknow Super Giants 2023 captain shall be K L Rahul, one of the finest batsmen of the modern era. Rahul was earlier leading Punjab Kings. He will lead a new set of players in IPL 2023 season and will bring out the best in his new teammates. KL Rahul has over 3200 IPL runs to his name and holds the record for the highest individual score by any batsman in the IPL.
